                                                                    PDA

Public displays of Affection (PDA or PDOA) are acts of physical intimacy in the view of others. What are acceptable displays of affection vary between cultures as well as to time and context. Which acts are acceptable have also varied over time. Displays of affection in a public place, such as the street, are more likely to be objected to, than similar practices in a private place with only people from a similar cultural background present. Maintaining eye contact can be regarded socially and psychologically as analogous to touching in some cultures.
In most of the Western world, such as Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the United States, it is very common to see people holding hands, hugging and kissing in public. In nightclubs, it is also common for people to "grind" (a form of dancing) or dance closely.
In Latin America, Italy, France or Spain the practice of teenagers gathering in public parks to kiss, caress or even have oral sex has caught the attention of United States media, strikingly because of the lack of political content in this "sexual awakening".
In India, public display of affection is a growing phenomenon, although stray incidents of police harassment of couples were reported in the past. However, relaxation of previous generations' social norms has made public displays of affection more common among India's younger demographic.
Public display of affection is a simple way to broadcast to the world your love to your loved ones. Depending on how you present it to the public, it can be seen and described as genuine love, parental love, and lust or disgusting by the people. PDA is good but should also have limits to some certain things and area/ location.

  Entry 2

                                                                  LOVE
Love is an emotion of a strong affection and personal attachment. Love is also said to be a virtue representing all of human kindness, compassion, and affection —"the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another". Love may describe compassionate and affectionate actions towards other humans, one's self or animals.
Love refers to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from pleasure ("I loved that meal") to interpersonal attraction ("I love my partner"). "Love" may refer specifically to the passionate desire and intimacy of romantic love, to the sexual love of Eros, to the emotional closeness of familial love, to the platonic love that defines friendship or to the profound oneness or devotion of religious love, or to a concept of love that encompasses all of those feelings. This diversity of uses and meanings, combined with the complexity of the feelings involved, makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, compared to other emotional states.
Love may be understood as part of the survival instinct, a function to keep human beings together against menaces and to facilitate the continuation of the species.

                                                            LOVE STORY
She's From:   United Kingdom
He's From:     United States
She and Clayton met via AOL Instant messenger back in 1999. They were friends for a good year before they became a couple back in early April 2000. They finally met in person in August 2001.
                                                     NATALIE & CLAYTON
It was an early morning of August 6th, a sharp ringing woke her up; she stumbled for the phone on her nightstand.
“Hello” she answered in her sleepy voice
“Hi baby time to get up and catch a plane” she smiled and woke up slowly, knowing that soon she would be in the arms of someone she loved so much. She said goodnight to Clayton, and got ready for the long journey ahead of her. Her sister Sarah was picking her up along with her mother. She’d never flown before, and this was such a major step for her to take. Flying half way across the world, on her own to meet someone she’d never met before. And what made it worse was that she had to change flights in Copenhagen, she was taking a big risk.     But she knew she’d be all right somehow she just knew everything would be ok. Although the   other part of her was literally terrified, scared that Clayton wouldn’t like her once they met and vice versa too.

After a 2hr drive with her mother and sister they got to Birmingham Airport. With mixed emotions she checked her luggage in. She looked down at her watch, 10am less than an hour and she’d be flying. She sat in the cafeteria with a Luke-warm coffee; she looked over at her mother, who was watching the planes take off. The look in her eyes told her that she was so excited for her. And from that moment she knew this wasn’t a dream; she was actually going to be boarding her first flight in 45mins. A tear started to roll down her cheek, she felt scared and alone. She cried even harder as she leaned over and hugged her mother tightly.
“I don’t want to go now.” She sobbed. Her sister smiled at her mother and said “I thought you’d be in tears before her” she wiped her wet eyes and took a deep breath her mother said.
“Look you can do this, you’ve been looking forward to this for so long. It’s a chance of a life time to go to the States, you’ll be fine.” She smiled and hugged her tightly, tears from her mother started to fall, but yet she didn’t realize that what she had just said made her feel warm and happy inside.
Finally her flight was called; she slowly walked over to the boarding area. She hugged her mother and sister. And gave her passport and ticket to the man standing there, she turned round and waved goodbye for the last time. Tears swelled her eyes again as she walked through to check her hand luggage. She walked down the corridor into the boarding lounge. She handed her passport and ticket, and she walked down the long tunnel and onto her first plane, bound for Copenhagen. She sat there with her seatbelt fastened she watched the ground slowly disappear, and then quickly replaced with sky and fluffy white clouds, it was amazing.
She arrived in Copenhagen a little lost, but somewhat excited. She found her next flight easy, so much easier than she thought it would be. In fact she got there an hour earlier than she was supposing too. Time went by and she handed her passport and ticket to be checked, she walked onto her second flight bound for Seattle. A 10hr flight later and she walked off into Customs, the line was long, and she slowly walked over to a booth where her passport was stamped. Yap, she had a stamp on her passport! She slowly boarded a Transit Train, which took her to collect her luggage; she didn’t know where to go from there so she stood still. She noticed everyone going up the escalator in front of her. She walked a little to the escalator and she saw a familiar face, Clayton was standing right at the top. She walked on and watched Clayton move towards her, as the stairs moved to the top. She smiled and tried to speak but she couldn’t her mouth was so dry and she was so tired. He handed her a single red rose and she smiled, as she smelled the flower.
“Mmmh, thank you it’s beautiful.” He caressed her cheek and said “No you're beautiful, come here I need a hug.” He wrapped his arms around her tightly, and tingles ran through her whole body she smiled, as they held each other for a good ten minutes it was perfect. Finally she was with the guy she had fallen in love with, he raised her chin and kissed her deeply. As they kissed, their first kiss, she knew that things were just as they should be.  They collected her luggage and walked back to his car, the atmosphere between them was   amazing. She couldn’t stop giggling and he couldn’t stop holding her hand. All the fears she had at the very beginning had vanished. She knows Clayton loves her for her and she love him for him. She wouldn’t have it any other way.
The whole 2wks were the best of her life every day was perfect, he made everyday all the more special. Especially the day when they went on a Cruise to Victoria Canada, he proposed with a gorgeous engagement ring, and she accepted. She knows Clayton is the one she is truly meant to be with and share her life with to the full; it’s funny how it all started over an IM 6years ago. They got married 6 July 2004.

                                                                  IF...
If am to choose to live in lost cities I will definitely choose Macho Picchu because;
It is located 7,000 feet above sea level and nestled on a small hilltop between the Andean mountain Range; the majestic city soars above the Urubamba Valley below. The Incan built structure has been deemed the “Lost Cities”, unknown until its relatively recent discovery in 1911. Archaeologists estimate that approximately 1200 people could have lived in the area, though many theorize it was most likely a retreat for Incan rulers. Due to its isolation from the rest of Peru, living in the area full time would require traveling great distances just to reach the nearest village. So for someone like me who loves travelling, such place will be an ideal place to live and explore.
More so, the agricultural terracing and aqueducts take the advantage of the natural slopes; the lower areas contain buildings occupied by farmers and teachers, and the most important religious areas are located at the crest of the hill, overlooking the lush Urubamba Valley thousands of feet below.
However, Hikers, tourists, and the early explorers describe similar emotions as they climb their way through the Inca Trail. Many call the experience magical. Glancing out from the Funerary Rock Hut on all the temples, fields, terraces, and baths seems to take you to another time. Blending in with the hillside itself, many say the area creates a seamless and elegant green paradise, making it a must for anyone who travels to Peru.
What could be more magical than seeing the natural beauties of the world from high altitude? It would make me understand the natural beauty and acknowledge God the creator of heavens and earth.

PDA is a bad thing that ever I think. it is not the right permission by other religions, especially Islam. For other religions, it is common to people of other faiths. Displays of affection in a public place, such as the street, are more likely to be objected to, than similar practices in a private place with only people from a similar cultural background present.  Maintaining  eye contact  can be regarded socially and psychologically as analogous to touching in some cultures.  In Malaysiait will invitedisadvantages or controversial to others if it should take place in public places. For other countries, it may be common his example of the United StatesGermany and etc. This is because there aredifferences in religion that prohibits this in show at public places. If I was given the opportunity to invent something, I will invent something useful for everyone as build circuits to street gangs and prevent accidents are often caused by street gangs. I want to design this because there are many young boys who abused and will cause traffic congestion and inconvenience to people around. I especially do not like to see this street thugs inconvenience their parents and the public because they are not indifferent art. own safety and that of others, they know just made happy on the road without considering the safety of others. I understand the feeling of those who want to race like on television, but they can not afford to pay to use the circuit. So I was free to design this circuit and we all would not worry about the problem of street gangs and other road disaster.

I have watched the video of this about a man who did not have his hands and feet as well as a strong-willed and not easily admit defeat, he is Nick Vujicic. He was very inspiring to me and my life that were previously only knew despair middle of the road, after I watched this video touched my heart with his lifestyle even though he was not perfect from perfect in terms of physical but mental. He greatly influenced a lot of people around with his way of life, Nick Vujicic also taught me the meaning of patience and do not easily succumb to what we are facing over the years. I'm very proud of him can live like a human being and now he was married .. I am also pleased with the story of his life that is not easily deterred when his college-age life often bullied until he wanted to give up but he was gritty and continue to succeed to graduate in the field of accounting. I can imagine how I place him, of course I can not handle it all like him now, I would kill myself. I remembered during my study in Cheras in accounting course, I can not do it until I drop the subject and go into other areas that interest me more. I feel sorry to leave accounting because if I continue, of course, now I was in the examination room and take the final exam. Now I get up and forget all his past and move on to a new book and will not repeat past mistakes again.

Public Displays of Affection (PDA)

What i know about Public Displays of Affection, a.k.a. PDA, its come in a variety of form .This the romantic in me that feels likes to see such sincere displays of affection. the good its:

Holding hands - You can't go wrong with hand holding. It's a classic, old fashioned way of showing you love each other

I love You - It's perfectly acceptable to say those three words in public. I Love You. People like hearing it, and it will make your partner feel secure that you are able to say it in public.

Hugging - Nothing wrong with a nice hug. Just keep the hands above the beltline, and show to public you very love each other

its way you show your love to public , but must care and respect

define Love

love is something that is amazing, all the people need to get true love. love will make one's life is perfect, because life is full of romance and love. you will love each other and miss. Without them life would become lonely and longing. Love can not be expressed with words and love always make you feel happy and strong desire to continue the romance

THE PROJECT FOR FUTURE

If I am given an opportunity or the resources to invent something new, I would invent a time machine. Yes, a time machine is the one that can travel against time and take you to the past.
The reason I would like to invent the time machine is because I'm very interested in physics and and according to it when we can travel faster than light we can go to the past.I like to read a lot of science fictions.I got the idea from it and would like to work on that idea and develop it.Since nobody yet have been successful in inventing one.
Being a history major I would like to travel back and really see all that I've learnt in college.I think that a lot can be learnt from the past.We all know dinosaurs are extinct but no one knows why.we can also know about the evolution of the earth and the reason to many natural factors which are still not know to man.
Since we know about a lot of incidents we can try to prevent them from happening. For example we could try and stop the titanic from sinking , the september 11th incident from happening or least we could have evacuated the building. Thus stoping a lot of misfortunes.
I think for the above said reasons the time machine will do the human kind a lot of good

What Do you Think Of  Public Display Affection

Public Display Affection (PDA)

In moderation, and in the right venue, they're fine. Assuming that one half of the couple isn't leaving for a two-year deep-space mission, I'll say that any PDA beyond the hand-holding, arm-around-the-waist, closed-mouth-kiss type is out of order,
Extreme PDA -- hands under clothes, deep tongue kissing -- just makes the couple look incredibly immature or, possibly, drunk. In other words: keep it PG-rated, kids. Don't do anything you wouldn't want your mother to see.In another words "Right place at the right time"

Define Love
The most spectacular, indescribable, deep euphoric feeling for someone. Love is an incredibly powerful word. When you're in love, you always want to be together, and when you're not, you're thinking about being together because you need that person and without them your life is incomplete

A love story

When a prank on fellow high-school student Clay Gephardt goes wrong, popular but rebellious Landon Carter is threatened with expulsion. His punishment is mandatory participation in various after-school activities, such as the drama club, where he is forced to interact with quiet, kind and bookish Jamie Sullivan, a girl he has known for many years but to whom he has rarely ever spoken. Their differing social statures leave them worlds apart, despite their close physical proximity.
When Landon has trouble learning his lines he asks Jamie for help. They begin practicing together at her house after school. At first Landon is only using Jamie for her help with the play, and treats her coldly when his other friends are around. But as he spends more and more time with her, he is surprised to find she is far from the person he thought she was, and begins to question who he really wants to impress.
During the play, Jamie astounds Landon and the entire audience with her beauty and voice, and Landon kisses her on the stage. Afterwards, he tries to get closer to her, but she repeatedly rejects him. Soon thereafter, however, Landon's friends publicly humiliate Jamie by altering a photograph of her and placing her head on the body of a scantily clad woman. Landon angrily confronts his former friend, punching him and publicly siding with Jamie. Afterwards, Landon and Jamie begin a relationship in which Landon dedicates most of his time to her. He discovers that she has a wish list, and sets out to make all her ambitions come true, such as taking her to a state border so that she can stand on either side of the line and, thus, be in two places at once.
In the final stretch of the movie, Jamie confesses to Landon that she is afflicted by terminal leukemia and has stopped responding to treatments. Landon gets upset at first, and Jamie tells him the reason she didn't tell him is that she was moving on with her life and using the time she had left but then Landon happened and she fell in love with him.
Jamie's cancer gets worse, her father rushes her to the hospital where he meets Landon. Landon doesn't leave Jamie's side until her father practically has to pry him away. Jamie's father sits with Jamie and tells her that "If I've kept you too close, it's because I want to keep you longer."
Soon, word gets out about Jamie's illness. Eric, Landon's best friend, comes and tells him how sorry he is and that he didn't understand. Other friends come and apologize too.
Later, Jamie gives Landon a book that was her mother's filled with quotes. Landon reads 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 along with her. Jamie then tells Landon that she believes that God sent him to her to help her through her illness and that he's her angel. He later learns that his estranged father is going to pay for private home care for Jamie. Landon shows up at his father's door and thanks him before breaking down in tears as his father hugs him.
Landon continues to fulfill various wishes on Jamie's list, such as building her a telescope so she can see a comet. Through this process, Landon and Jamie learn more about the nature of love. Landon is finally able to grant Jamie's top wish by marrying her in the same chapel her parents got married in. Landon narrates that they had a perfect summer together with more love than anybody could possibly know and that she died soon after. Landon himself becomes a better person through Jamie's memory, achieving the goals that he set out to do, like she did.
Four years later, Landon visits Jamie's father and shows that he is still a better person because of Jamie by informing her father that he has been accepted into medical school; prior to falling in love with Jamie, he had no plans for his future after high school. Jamie's father tells him that both he and his mother are proud of him and that Jamie would be too. Landon tells him that he's sorry he never granted Jamie's wish to witness a miracle. Jamie's father tells him that she did in fact witness one: it was he. Carrying that thought, Landon goes for a walk on the docks where he narrates saying that Jamie changed him forever and that while he misses her, he believes their love is like the wind. He can't see it, but he can feel it .

Title: If
Petra ("Rock") lies on the slope of Mount Hor (Jordan) in a basin among the mountains which form the eastern flank of Arabah (Wadi Araba), the large valley running from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba. It is famous for having many stone structures carved into the rock. The long-hidden site was revealed to the Western world by the Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt in 1812. It was famously described as "a rose-red city half as old as time" in a Newdigate prize-winning sonnet by John William Burgon. Burgon had not actually visited Petra, which remained accessible only to Europeans accompanied by local guides with armed escorts until after World War I. The site was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985 when it was described as "one of the most precious cultural properties of man's cultural heritage." Enclosed by towering rocks and watered by a perennial stream, Petra not only possessed the advantages of a fortress but controlled the main commercial routes which passed through it to Gaza in the west, to Bosra and Damascus in the north, to Aqaba and Leuce Come on the Red Sea, and across the desert to the Persian Gulf. Petra's decline came rapidly under Roman rule, in large part due to the revision of sea-based trade routes. In 363 an earthquake destroyed buildings and crippled the vital water management system. The ruins of Petra were an object of curiosity in the Middle Ages and were visited by the Sultan Baibars of Egypt towards the close of the 13th century.

PDA (public display of affection)

A peck on the lip or hug is not a big deal when done to the side not in front of someone it's just too personal,
but when a men's grabbing a women's butt it is too much it feels uncomfortable for other to watch someone else gropping. Also,I do not like when someone gives a sloppy and noisy kiss in front of me.It's just gross,
and I know it's not to them. But to others it is.Do what you would do in front kids, but if it's a too personal and intimate keep it for a private moment.I believe that there is a place and time for everything.I especially
believe light PDA should be done away from others not in front of others it is awkward..

DEFINE LOVE

I've never been in love so i can only guese, but i know how rare it is  to find someone who make you truely
happy.I think when you put time and patience into a person who makes you happy and get to know the
real them, you allow yourself to really understand that person,(I thing understanding someone wholey is possibly the nicest feeling ever) with this understanding and giving each other the space they need over
time creates a solid trust and I think somewhere round  here is real love.

What do you think of Public Display of Affection (PDA)?

MY opinion about PDA its fine like hugging, holding hands, and kissing their children are normal act of showing their affection. But if unmarried couple means have a certain limits for the holding hands might be fine, but hugging and kissing is bring  negative impressions from public since it not suitable to ASIAN CULTURAL expecially for our country MALAYSIA. But I not say that hugging and kissing its not bad behaver. Its suitable for western cultural not ours. And it also will be affected children’s mind when they saw this all. So everyone must act as suitable to the situation.

LOVE
Love is an incredibly powerful word. Love can make you do anything and sacrifice for what will be better in the end. Love is intense, and passionate. Ever Love is about giving and taking. Both contribute to the relationship. Sharing each others burdens and joys, even when you don't feel like it ( feelings should not be the focus!). It's working to better and fulfill the other person, rather than just get what you want. Anything seems brighter, happier and more wonderful when you're in love.

ENTRY 2
LOVE WILL MAKE US BLIND

There was a blind girl who was filled with animosity and despised the world. She didn't have many friends, just a boyfriend who loved her deeply, like no one else. She always used to say that she'd marry him if she could see him. Suddenly, one day someone donated her a pair of eyes.
And that's when she finally saw her boyfriend. She was astonished to see that her boyfriend was blind. He told her, "You can see me now, can we get married?" She replied, "And do what? We'd never be happy. I have my eye sight now, but you're still blind. It won't work out, I'm sorry."
With a tear in his eye and a smile on his face, he meekly said, "I understand. I just want you to always be happy. Take care of yourself, and my eyes."

ENTRY 3

If . . . .

If I were given a chance to choose and live in once of these cities such as the hanging garden of Babylon, Atlantis , Chichen–Itza. I would choose Machu Picchu because of its location in the Andes Mountain in modern Peru. I love to live in high place like mountain. The city has an altitude of 8,000 feet and is high above the Urubamba River canyon cloud forest, so it likely did not have any administrative , military or commercial use. Machu picchu is comprised of approximately 200 building, most being residences, although there are temples , storage structures and other public buildings. The buildings are thought to have been and built under the supervision of professional Inca architects. The structures built of granite blocks cut with bronzer or stone tools, smoothed with sand. The joints are so tight that even the thinnest of knife blades can’t forced between the stones.  At the center were large open squares ; livestock enclosures and terraces for growing maize stretched around the edge of the city. The incas planted crops such as potatoes and maize at Machu Picchu. So i no need to search for food all over the place just plant them. Other than that, Machu Picchu is safe from some natural disaster like tsunami, flood, earthquake, volcanic eruption and typhoon. Last but not least, the city offered panoramic views of the majestic natural environments surrounding it, which I will definitely never get tired of looking at. This all the reason that I choose this lost city to live.

ENTRY 4

The only way to fly through the air these days is on a plane, while skydiving, on a helicopter, etc. Nobody can fly through the air with just shoes. Our invention is flying shoes. These shoes have a mini motor in the arch of the shoe so you can fly up,and a mini motor on the back of the shoe that propels you forward. These shoes come with something called a speedometer. It tells you how high you are, and how fast you are going. On the speedometer, you can adjust how high, or fast you want to go. The last button on the speedometer is the parachute button. When you are falling just press the button, and a parachute will come out of the sides of the shoe. These shoes charge with solar energy (the solar panels are located on the toe of the sneaker). These special flying shoes also come in boots, flats, and basketball shoes. These shoes can last up to 4 hours without sun. These shoes have a limit to how high you can go. The limit is 600 feet high. You can also only go 100 MPH. This is installed for your safety. These shoes feel like normal shoes you wear every day. You can also go on land with these shoes without damaging any of the motors because they are far enough from the ground. Don’t be worried if you think the shoes will be uncomfortable because of all of the unusual gadgets. They feel like your ordinary sneaker, boot, flat, or basketball shoe. These shoes are meant to help transportation, so instead of being stuck in traffic in a car, you can be in the air flying!

                                                    NICK VUJICIC

The video inspire me by the way he talk with confident. He is a person who born without limbs. He can survive in this world happiely and achieve everything that he want. No legs, no worries and it completely changed my view on life, making  me think that if NICK can become succesfull, someone with all four limbs can too. Most inspire me is his word beautiful is the way you are now beautiful. This video teach us about in life we cant give up without achieve success. We must try again, again, again and again. No one is perfect in this world. So we must try to learn how to overcome every single problem that we faced.
For me the biggest challenge in my life is i come  far to live a indepence life style. This desicion take by my own to study far. Because i wanted to know how the life will be live far from family. Actually its was not so easy as i thought. Its very hard actually 18 years stay with family and now stay alone . Everytime i missed my family members, fil lik wana go back home and fil crying. At that moment i just think one only i take the challenge ready so i must finish it with success. Now i just got one  ambition only that are i want a good student and make proud of my parents. If NICK can do everything that we think he cant that , WHY not i cant do this.

ENTRY 6
MIND YOUR LANGUAGE

My favourite character in comedy drama “ MIND YOUR LANGUAGE “ is Jameela Ranjha, portrayed by Jamila Massey (Series 1–3), is an Indian housewife from Simla. When she first joins the class she can barely speak English, and needs Ali to translate her Urdu, but by series 3, she has become one of the better English speakers. She often calls Mr. Brown "Masterjee",and her catchphrase early in the series is "gud havening" which is how she pronounces "Good evening". During class, she is mostly found knitting. She is shown as a Christian in the episode "Guilty or not Guilty?", when she swears over the bible to tell the truth. Moreover, she wears a cross around her neck from the 11th episode of the first season.

ENTRY 7
MY SUPERPOWER

If  I could have one superpower, I would choose TELEKINESIS. Most people just think telekinesis is simply picking up something with your mind and moving it around, but telekinesis is only as limited as MINE imagination. Not only can I move anything i want, but i could also move myself, and therefore fly. I could also separate every tiny particle in a living being and turn them to nothing but dust (if you were evil, ie. Jean Grey/The Phoenix). I could use anything around i as an instant shield or a weapon. I could even stop bullets from moving or take control of another person's body and have them do whatever i want. There are so many possibilities with telekinesis. That’s why I want to have this SUPERPOWER.

PDA ( PUBLIC DISPLAY OF AFFECTION)

Say hey to my all beloved friend also my teacher miss V. Okay my opinion about PDA is good for us to create a relationship with friend especially our parents but could be bad for kids who was under age. Kissing,Hugging is not suitable do it at public area cause we are in malaysia bro!. Holding hand is okay for people who was married, for who was unmarried dont do it cause it will make a disease for kids. so try to avoid from kids, dont let them see what your doing, because they still young. And don't do the heavy things like hugging kissing or naked at public area! the goverment will sue you.. we are in malaysia so malaysia country have a lot of rule! just follow the rule ok.

DEFINE LOVE
Define love? wokay let we talk about love. Love have 2 diffrent love. first we call it love by devil, example: we meet that person and then we do the forbidden  relation things and we get a child. That we called love by devil. secondly we call it love by god, example we meet that person,we tell to our both parents that we are in love. so we submit an engagement with that person and we have a child and also our live will be happy until the world end. so if you are in the first love so your life will never be good so thats we called sadlife, if your love is no2 you will be the the lucky person in the world. so love is not pain as you think. choose the right love and it will make your life happier.

ENTRY 2

                                                                 ABOUT HER

that night I got a call from my lover. sounds like people crying. her family does not like the relationship between she and me.her parents decide to break our relationship. when I heard, my heart is sad, and the tears dripping on my hands. I was shocked and my heart beats more slowly like dying. my tears wet my face. with no words, and I left from the shopping mall. And the sad also anger are fully in my hearts! only god know how painful i am.
since then I am nothing. and I'm still waiting for her. hope she will be happy with her new husband.

LOST CITY

  1. if I had the chance to live in LOST CITY  I would choose the city that they call it KOTA GELANGGI. kota gelanggi is a strategic place that have been surrounded by plants and the air is always fresh. I also will be able to learn more about the history in this city. in the city there are seven separate cave somewhere. Every cave is an empire. means that there are 7 of the empire. If they can live in this city, then i will be survive too and if the city is not safe to live,so what about the people who live 200years ago? like i said before kota gelanggi is a strategic place cause the place is far from town, also  various food sources can be found here.so this is place is safe for me to live .by the way kota gelanggi is in malaysia.

ENTRY 2

On a hot summer in 2006, my family and I went on vacation in Langkawi. I am so excited and can not wait to get to the destination. Having just arrived there, our family went to the hotel to leave our luggage and walked to the town of Langkawi. After a long walk we stopped to eat at a restaurant, was busy eating .. suddenly a waitress at the restaurant give my right piece of paper and told that the man told her there gave me. I was bewildered and confused, and continue to open up the paper and saw pieces of the dialogue line 'hey, can get acquainted, my name is zul my phone number XXX-XXXXXXX'. I was shocked and embarrassed to not unspeakable, in my heart I say 'her handsome he' .. after returning to the hotel, I tried to contact him and on until late at night. A month has passed, he is already owned by me for her and we plan to marry in the near future.                                                      -THE END-

ENTRY 3IF
If I were given the opportunity to choose and stay in one of lost cities such as Chichen Itza, memphis egypt etc, I would choose Machu Picchu because of its very strategic place and secure than other lost cities. it is located near the Urubamba River and the place is covered with dense bush, extract of it covering Pre-Colombian culvitation terraces. Machu Picchu was built of granite structur blocks cut with bronze or stone tools and building this mean the city is very strong and permanent. Machu Picchu city also nice because we can farm because there is a park devoted to farming alone and easy to make ends meet. Also in this city does not have strange rituals such as the god of rain required the sacrifice of human life and is categorized city state of peace and security. In terms of its construction was his stones are very strong and the evidence is still holding up and stand up now although it is not an attractive painting on it. This city is also survived by natural disaster such as floods, volcanoes and the like. As a conclusion, the city has an interesting view and its surroundings are very quiet and attractive, and certainly not bored for me to see him for how long already.

ENTRY 1
PDA ( PUBLIC DISPLAY OF AFFECTION)
In my opinion, public displays of affection can good or bad. It depends on his love of the person delivering them. We do not know what that outsiders think of when they see us hugging, kissing n forth. It's when they thought of showing love and affection, but do not  in a too open as we want to show that only one person has of people still loved ones. If shows the love of the family was not, but there is a limit should be cared for him n his manners and conversation. PDA is not wrong, but there is a limit it.

DEFINE OF LOVE
Love, not only for humans but can also be associated with animals, property and others. Love can be shown to parents, friends, pets, even the street animals. Love is so great and wonderful if people appreciate the value of love.

Mohd Shahrizam bin Sabli (01-201205-00089)

ENTRY 1
What Do You Think About Public Display of Affection (PDA)?

In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with Public Display of Affection (PDA) as long as it is between married couples or parents with their children, and if that act does not escalate into a more racy one. This is because it is not a proper thing for a child to look at, besides giving people who accidently looking at it a hard time, trying to avert their eyes away from that embarrassing scene. On the other hand, I am out-and-out against Moslem couples who are obviously not married yet or of the same gender engaging in this act. The latter is quite distasteful not only to me but also to other decent people as well while the former will infuriate the Moslem community in here. It is prohibited in Islam for an unmarried couple to even holding hands so more than that is clearly out of question. To sum it all up, PDA is a privilege for married couples and parents and their children only or at least that is what I think.

Define Love.

Love is a strong feeling of affection that you have when you like something very, very much. When you love someone else, other than your family members, you show to her only your best side, and hide your bad side. If she is out of your reach, you desperately wish that she was yours and try your very best to win over her heart. But then, after you successfully secure her, you start to think that what you did to win her over is more interesting than winning over her itself.

ENTRY 2
Love Story.

Never Give Up, Never Surrender!

At first Ishmael despised the bespectacled girl because she possessed all of the characteristics that he desperately wished he had; quiet, smart, mature and stoic but when he noticed that the girl displayed an uncanny resemblance with his favourite character from a certain TV programme, he started to fall in love with her. He knew that that was such a shallow reason for a guy to love a girl but he just dismissed the notion coolly. To each, his own. What he did not know was how to make that girl liked him
.
As he was a lazy, sullen, uncommunicative person without any distinguishing traits and talents, Ishmael was always being invisible to other people, including his subject of affection. Well, he did not care whether other people noticed him or not but he really, really wished that the girl will look at him for once. But then, nothing ventured, nothing gained. If he just sat around and do nothing impressive, the girl will never pay any attention to him. Ever.

Ishmael resolved to change his outlook and decided to do several things to shed that detestable cloak of invisibility that has been enveloping his body the whole time. First, he tried to learn playing guitar. He thought that people who played guitar looked so cool and it seemed that everyone liked guitarists, although he did not know why. Nevertheless, he only went as far as admiring the guitars displayed at the musical instruments shop. Cheap guitars was not up to his cup of tea but he cannot afford to buy a decent one. Besides, it was really a hassle trying to remember all those difficult guitar chords.

After that, Ishmael tried to get buff because, naturally, girls liked muscular guys. He did not have the patience to do proper exercises and had a healthy diet continuously for a long period of time, though. Instead, he browsed the Internet for some tips on how to increase his muscle mass easily and fast. Ishmael did not know whether they were effective or not; he did the work out as suggested by the tips for a few days and got sick of them.

His last resort was to learn to speak English fluently, in a British accent to boot. Ishmael had the impression that those who can speak in British English were all sophisticated people. He thought the same thing with people who spoke American English. Majority of the local people, especially people of his race, either spoke heavily-accented English or spoke in English clumsily and awkwardly so someone among them that can speak English fluently would obviously stood out like a sore thumb. Again, Ishmael browsed the Internet for some useful tips and watched some videos to improve his spoken English. And again, he stopped his endeavours halfway through.

In the end, Ishmael decided to give up on the bespectacled girl, telling himself some plausible excuses to justify his act.

ENTRY 3
If...

If I were given a chance to choose and live in one of the lost cities such as Chernobyl, Pripyat, Gomorrah and Pompeii, to name a few, I would choose Machu Picchu because it seemed to be relatively safe compared with other lost cities. As the Incan city was situated high in the Andes Mountains, few people outside the Inca’s closest retainers were actually aware of its existence, so the likelihood of the city of being conquered by other stronger nations or factions was practically nonexistence. I did not really appreciated the ideas of getting caught, tortured and then executed by the conquerors or being driven out of my home so it was a good thing for me that most people, especially the enemies, were oblivious to the existence of this place. Besides, the people here did not have any grisly religious rites involving human sacrifices so I did not have to worry about being chosen as one myself. Moreover, Machu Picchu was safe from several major natural disasters namely flood, earthquake, volcanic eruption and typhoon, judging from the brief history of the city which devoid of the disasters mentioned above so this meant that something unfortunate like losing my house and belongings to the disasters would never happen to me. Last but not least, the city offered panoramic views of the majestic natural environments surrounding it, which I would definitely never get tired of looking at.

ENTRY 4
If...

I would love to visit several places in this world that have catch my interest such as Alhambra, an Islamic palace located at Andalusia, Spain and the statue of Christ the Redeemer at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The sight of the palace at night, illuminated by thousands of candles must be a sight to behold. The same goes with watching the sun rises from atop the Corcovado Mountain, at the foot of the 130 feet tall statue. Alas, only those who are well-off can afford to visit anywhere that they like and I am not one of them so if I am an inventor, I would devise a device that can transport me to places in this world. The device is shaped like a wristwatch but instead of numbers on its face, there is a map of this world on it. There are dials at the sides of the wristwatch that I can adjust to pinpoint the location that I wanted to go, and after I push a certain button, voilà, I will be transported to that place in a blink of an eye! This may sounds like something out of Doraemon, totally outlandish and nonsensical but then, imagination knows no boundaries. With this device I no longer need any money to travel to other faraway places. It may be illegal for me to just leave my country and go to other countries without passport and visa and some people might abuse this device so I am not planning to sell it, I will only use it for my own personal entertainment. Huh, trying to think logically about something illogical is preposterous!

Nick Vujicic: Life Without Limbs - From No Limbs to No Limits.

After watching the video of Nick Vujicic, the disabled man who was born without any limbs but strive to live his life like other normal people, it inspire me to do my very best in my life. I, as a normal human being without any kind of disability, should have no trouble in realizing my goals (if any) as long as I work hard to achieve them. The video teach us to count our blessings and work hard to obtain things that you do not have instead of whining and complaining to the God. It also teach us not to give up easily when facing with difficulties even if it means that you have to try so many times to overcome them. Trying to at least have a grasp on high school level and lower mathematics is the biggest challenge in my life so far. This is hardly a problem to other people but as I have been living a shallow life all this time, I cannot think of any other things that are challenging to me save for this one. I have never try my best to improve my understanding of mathematics. When I was at secondary school, I rarely did exercises on this subject and always copied the answers for my mathematics homework from my brother or my friends, resulting in me getting bad results for my mathematics tests. After finishing my secondary school’s studies, I enrolled into two colleges and applied for diplomas in business and engineering respectively  but I found them to be too much of a challenge for me as they involved in mathematics that I quit studying them and entered another college, applying for a diploma that did not have anything to do with mathematics. In the end, I did not overcome this challenge and I have no plan of overcoming it in the future. This is really contradicting with what I have said earlier about not giving up easily but I just could not care less. Do as I say and not as I do.

ENTRY 6
Mind Your Language.

Mind Your Language is a British comedy television series about a group of foreign students trying to learn English in an adult education college in London. My favourite character from this sitcom is Ali Nadeem, a jobless Pakistani and the first student to make his appearance in this sitcom. Ali is undoubtedly the loudest of the students; he always comes late to his English class, enthusiastically yelling “Hello everybody!” when entering the room without feeling any guilt, much to his lecturer’s annoyance. He always mispronounces several English words, most notably “Excuse me please.” which he pronounces as “Squeeze me please.”  It has then become one of his catchphrases along with “Yes please!”, “Oh blimey!” and “Jolly good!” I find all of these to be murderously funny although it wears off after being repeated countless of times. As a Pakistani Moslem, he is always at odds with the Indian Sikh Ranjeet, a nod to their own countries’ stormy relationships with each other. They frequently have arguments, both verbally and physically, in the early episodes but as the series progresses, they become less hostile towards each other and even, at times, able to cooperate without complaint. Being able to shrug off his aversion towards his rival is a commendable act indeed and that is also why he is my favourite character.

ENTRY 7
I Have Got The Power!
If I could have a superpower, it would be the ability to remember precisely everything that I have heard and see once, in other words, having a really great memory. It does not sound as incredible as, let say, the power to breath fire or causing earthquakes, and it even exists in reality. However, only a handful of people in this world who have this ability with Kim Peeks, a genius savant, being the most notable example. He has read over twelve thousands books and remembers every single page of them. He can also read two pages at once; his right eye reads the right page while his left eye reads the left page, which usually takes about three seconds for him to read through the two pages. Having this ability will make studying no longer an onerous task to me. I just need to read through a book once, which I can finish in no time if I can read as fast as Peeks, to remember all the facts within it, and then during a test, write down all the facts at the answer sheets. Or maybe I do not even have to study at all, as I will already remember all the things that my lecturers have said during the classes. My life as a student will become much less stressful and more enjoyable, as I will have more free time to spend on reading novels, browsing the Internet and playing video games. Most importantly, I can sail through my exams and assignments without having to work hard.

Lessons Learned From ReVoG I to ReVoG II(I).

Now that the Reading, Vocabulary and Grammar II class, which I abbreviate as ReVoG II, is nearing towards its end, I think this is the suitable time for me to tell my impression about the class based on my experience while attending it. The class has taught me a lot about grammar. I think I have a better grasp of it, though I am far from mastering it, after learning the tenses, sentence structures and parts of speech during the class. I have to say that I am only familiar with simple present tense and past tense and some of the parts of speech before I attend ReVoG II class. Since I have studied at a smart school for my secondary school education, my English teachers did not bother to teach the students about the tenses, sentence structures and parts of speech or even glossed over them as they thought that the students had already been well-versed in that topics, seeing from the students’ relatively good results in English for their UPSR and PMR examinations. I have not learned much from my previous ReVoG I class as it was a little too laid-back. Not that I have any complaints regarding a laid-back class. Also, the repeated lessons on the previously-mentioned topics by the lecturer of the ReVoG II has further reinforced my understanding on them so all in all I have learned a great deal of things from this class.
